Formed in 2010 as a recording outlet by Sydney musician/animator James Redmond to explore the music in his head. Seeking to fill a void between electronic ambience and minimalist guitar instrumental music, 7angram* is an original twist on the combination.

Fusing hypnotic grooves,electronic textures, trippy guitar and exotic timbres, 7angram's sounds are familiar, yet put together in unexpected ways. Inspired melodies meld with exotic landscapes to provide a soundtrack for the imagination to explore its hidden depths.

DrawninwarD is the first album released and is designed to be played from beginning to end with headphones on for maximum impact.

This is music inspired by many styles, from jazz to jungle, with a musical soul at its core, not just mindless beats. Not quite intended to be danced to or snoozed to, but listened to with awareness. This is hypnotic music to enter your own zone with and be....DrawninwarD!

(*Pronounced as "Tangram" like the 7 piece Chinese puzzle which can be arranged in an amazing array of forms, just like the 7 note musical scales)
